We designed this stunning quilt for a nine part Block of the Month programme. We have kept the same format in this pattern booklet so it can be used as a Block of the Month quilt or as a stand alone pattern. At each step we give the fabric requirements for that step and full instructions on how to make the block. We used different fabrics at each step except for the background fabric which we kept the same throughout the quilt.
We use the Two Peaks in One Ruler by Creative Grids (CGR2P1) to make the triangle in a square block. This is a great ruler and will speed up your cutting and help with accuracy. However, we do provide templates as an alternative option.
Important: print the pattern at 100% or ‘actual size’. If you are using the templates, please use the 1in test box on the template page to check the sizing.
