Tabby Road Twist
When we first stocked Tula Pink’s Tabby Road back in 2012, we wanted something quick and easy to showcase the fabrics and we found this brilliant free pattern from Modkids called Spin me Around and knew it was perfect. We had to adapt the pattern to work with 5in strips and we added a border with the left over strips. It uses partial seaming which is a technique we really enjoy and always makes a quilt look more complicated than it actually is!
The quilt measures 54in square.
You need:
one Dessert Roll (or forty 5in strips cut across the width of fabric)
one 13½in square for centre•
four 5in x 14in rectangles in four solid colours for the border corners•
50cms (20in) binding fabric
